We aspire to become a $200 million corporation by 2026

India’s renewable energy-producing capacity has grown rapidly in recent years, and it is now the world’s third most appealing renewable energy market. The government’s announcement that the country’s objective is to achieve net zero emissions by 2070 and meet 50 percent of its electricity needs with renewable energy sources by 2030 has also considerably bolstered the renewable sector. Unlike the traditional energy sector, where charges have been increasing owing to different industry-related constraints, the market cost of renewable energy devices in the demand-supply chain has decreased by over 80% and is highly reasonable. All of these considerations have contributed to a progressive expansion in market penetration, which encompasses everything from huge industrial projects to smaller installations and residential regions.
Sumit Tiwari established SunGarner Energies Ltd., a Greater Noida-based power solutions manufacturing company specialising in solar power requirements as well as upcoming power generation and energy conservation solutions, with the client’s expectation of getting all energy service requirements under one roof in mind. Over the years, the company has evolved into product development for solar inverters and solar online UPS. Through its colleagues and channel partners, SunGarner has completed over 12000 solar off-grid installations in 25 Indian states ranging from Leh to Chennai, Rajasthan to Assam, and up to Bhutan. Earlier, SunGarner operations were limited to northern India. Today, it is operating in 25 Indian states and is involved in Bhutan, Nepal, Nigeria, Dubai, and other markets.
In 2017, SunGarner purchased a facility in Greater Noida and began producing inverters. In addition, the company finished its largest project in Gorakhpur, which has a 1.2-megawatt capacity and was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. SunGarner has also worked on the largest solar power plant project in Bhutan, which was supported by the UNDP. Sungarner’s annual revenue has increased by 50 percent during the last two years. In terms of future ambitions, it aspires to be a $200 million corporation in four years. It also aims to become a 100 percent power solution supplier, with 500 partners in India and 12 partners outside of India.
