How are switchgear manufacturers adapting to support smart grid integration and enhance renewable energy efficiency?

What is your expectation from the Union Budget 2025?

We anticipate that in the Union Budget 2025, the government will allocate substantial resources to renewable energy, such as solar, wind, and green hydrogen, alongside incentivising sustainable manufacturing practices. This could include tax benefits for businesses adopting energy-efficient technologies and transitioning to net-zero emissions. A clear roadmap for these initiatives would help India strengthen its position as a leader in global sustainability efforts. Thus, this year’s budget can be expected to amplify the country’s trajectory by allocating substantial resources toward renewable energy adoption, waste reduction, and green technology integration.

Simultaneously, the budget is expected to drive the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector through investments in AI, IoT, robotics, and automation, unlocking the potential of Industry 4.0. Programmes like ‘Make in India,’ ‘Digital India,’ and ‘Skill India’ will focus on developing a skilled workforce to support these advancements and provide employment opportunities.
