Increasing demand for multimeters and clamp meters had led to a shift in our focus from traditional products to new and upgraded measuring instruments.
As more and more T&M products comply with higher transient protection and higher safety categories, the instruments will become safer for use by consumers, says Chandmal Goliya, Managing Director, Kusam Meco.
How are energy trends affecting the market for T&M products and technology?
KUSAM-MECO is a four-decade-old company in the field of electronic tests and measuring instruments. The company has a large range of high-safety “UL” listed products. The company adapts to the needs of the market, providing the best products available in the industry. Due to government policies emphasising renewable energy, the focus of power generation is shifting from traditional coal and thermal power stations to wind power and solar power, to save on fuel costs. Adapting to changes in the power scenario, KUSAM-MECO has also added a few products to meet the demand for test and measuring instruments for these new sectors. There is a demand for multimeters and clamp metres for measuring high voltage DC up to 1500 volts or 2000 volts, solar power meters, solar radiation meters, invertor clamp meters, power analysers etc. This has led to a change of focus from traditional products to the newly required instruments.
How is your industry responding to India’s ever-increasing demand for uninterrupted power?
Due to the industrial growth in the country, the demand for power is increasing day by day. To avoid unnecessary power consumption, our company offers a Maximum Demand Controller, which allows the demand for power to be limited
