Impulse Green Energy, the authorised distributor of Sineng Electric in India, is delivering cutting-edge PV inverters and energy storage solutions. The firm has been driving advancements in the renewable energy sector since 2016. Brinder Gandhi shares more insights into the company’s strategies.
Can you briefly describe Sineng Electric and its association with Impulse Green Energy?
Impulse Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. (IGEPL) is the authorised Distributor of Sineng Electric in India from 2022. Sineng has emerged as a global leader in PV+ESS solutions, providing PV inverters, PCS, and power quality products. Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in April 2020, Sineng operates three major manufacturing bases in Ningxia and Wuxi in China and Bangalore. These bases contribute to an annual production capacity of 50 GW.
Through establishing four R&D centres and strategically using high-quality resources, Sineng is committed to making sustainable, cost-effective, and reliable energy accessible to more people. The company’s efforts have earned it recognition as a Bloomberg NEF Tier 1 PV inverter maker, and it has consistently ranked among the global Top 10 PV inverter suppliers for ten consecutive years. Sineng’s product range benefits from the research and development expertise of Emerson Network Power, which offers string inverters, central inverters, MV turnkey stations, and energy storage systems. This partnership guarantees that Sineng products excel in efficiency, performance, and reliability.
Can you elaborate on Sineng Electric’s product range?
Among Sineng Electric’s flagship offerings are the SP350K-INH and SP275K-INH, designed for Utility-Scale projects, and the SN125PT, SP-120K-BL, SN 60PT, SN 50PT, SN 40PT, SN33PT, and SN25PT-X string inverters, designed for commercial applications. The SP-350K-INH is ideal for the 1500 Vdc utility segment, with features like 12 MPPTs, a high input current of 45A per MPPT, and a DC/AC ratio of up to 1.8. Sineng’s 275 kW string inverter, also for the 1500 Vdc segment, supports utility-scale solar projects. It offers 12 MPPTs and a high input current of 40A per MPPT. Its smart forced air cooling design ensures low temperature rise and extends its lifespan. The inverter’s IP66 and C5 anti-corrosion protection enables it to perform reliably even in challenging environments.
These inverters also support active and reactive power control, featuring the ‘Q at Night’ function for grid support and LVRT and HVRT capabilities for grid stability. Additional features like PID recovery maintain system efficiency, while the IP66 and C5 anti-corrosion protection ensure durability. These inverters are compatible with bifacial modules and are certified for the EU market. The SN125PT string inverter, designed for the 1100 Vdc commercial and industrial segment, includes 5 MPPTs and advanced features such as night-time PID recovery and a built-in arc-fault circuit interrupter for improved safety. Its smart I/V curve diagnosis offers real-time PV system monitoring. The SN125PT adheres to VDE 4105/4110 standards and includes a built-in arc-fault circuit interrupter, significantly enhancing system safety by preventing electrical fires. Can you elaborate on how Sineng is maintaining quality and reliability?
Sineng Electric ensures the reliability and efficiency of its products through a comprehensive strategy that includes rigorous testing, certification, and the use of high-quality components. Sineng’s laboratories perform continuous product testing in Wuxi and Shenzhen, China, including stress testing under extreme conditions. Collaborations with esteemed third-party organisations such as DNV GL, TÜV SÜD, and TÜV Rheinl provide independent validation of reliability and efficiency.
