Let us know more from Martin Lv. Product Manager of Raythink Technology.
What role does the T&M industry play in developing decentralised power grid systems, and how does it contribute to grid reliability and optimisation?
Raythink Technology offers professional and competitive infrared thermal imaging products and solutions for the electrical sector. In the evolution of decentralised power grid systems, thermal cameras enable real-time, mobile temperature measurements and routine inspections in various scenarios. This proactive approach helps identify potential faults and security risks promptly, enhancing the power system’s operational efficiency and supporting sustainable, uninterrupted operations.
How are advancements in battery storage technologies shaping the demand for specialised T&M instruments, particularly in monitoring and optimising energy storage systems?
Thermal camera technology is crucial in monitoring and optimising energy storage systems. It provides real-time monitoring, fault detection and location, efficiency optimisation, preventive maintenance support, and enhanced overall system security. These functions contribute to the development of energy storage systems, driving efficiency, safety, and reliability improvements.
What challenges do you foresee in integrating advanced T&M instruments with existing energy infrastructure, especially in rural or off-grid areas?
Customers in rural or off-grid areas have highlighted challenges such as the accuracy of thermal camera temperature measurements, convenient networking methods, product functionality, component design, and continuous product development. In response, Raythink Technology will intensify R&D efforts, integrating IoT, AI, machine vision, and other technologies to meet customer demands while optimising our products’ software and hardware. What are your expectations for the upcoming budget?
We hope the upcoming budget will allocate additional funds to support the growth of the Indian T&M instruments market, especially for infrared thermography applications. This market is driven by the increasing need for routine inspections, operations, and maintenance (O&M) of existing power systems to reduce energy losses, improve energy utilisation, and transition from traditional to renewable energy sources. Government policies and regulations and increased budgetary support will present significant opportunities for the market’s development.
What are your plans for ELECRAMA 25’?
