O2 Power secures 100 MW PPA with East Central Railways

East Central Railways will benefit from this partnership by advancing its decarbonisation goals and contributing to the national mission of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2070.
O2 Power, India’s leading renewable energy platform committed to driving transition to clean energy through innovative solar and wind power solutions, has announced the signing of a 100 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with East Central Railways. The renewable power under this agreement will be supplied from O2 Power’s installed capacity of 360 MW across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka.
East Central Railways, a key division of the Indian Railways will benefit from this partnership by advancing its decarbonization goals and contributing to the national mission of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2070. The renewable energy supplied under this agreement will directly power ECR’s operations, reducing its carbon footprint and enhance energy sustainability. By harnessing solar and wind power across multiple states, O2 Power continues to play a pivotal role in shaping India’s clean energy future.
