Advait ready for a bold move in the energy transition space
.

Advait Energy Transitions Limited has achieved a major milestone in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sector by securing a 50 MW/100 MWh BESS project from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd under Phase-IV of their Tariff-Based Global Competitive Bidding.

The energy sector is transforming rapidly, shifting towards cleaner and more sustainable solutions. But with this transition comes an increasing demand for trust. Stakeholders, whether they are investors, regulators or the communities being served, want to know that energy companies are not just making promises but delivering real, measurable change. At Advait Energy Transitions Limited, formerly Advait Infratech, transparency is not just a buzzword but the foundation of the company’s ethos. By embracing clear communication, ethical business practices and tangible sustainability efforts, Advait is setting a benchmark for openness in an industry where trust is often hard-earned.

A Clear Vision for a Sustainable Future

One of the most significant moments in Advait’s journey was its rebranding in October 2024. The shift from Advait Infratech to Advait Energy Transitions Limited is not just about changing a name—it reflects the company’s deeper commitment to the evolving energy landscape. With the new Tagline, “Transforming Energies, Transforming Lives,” Advait sent a strong message: it is not just participating in the clean energy shift but leading it.

Transparency starts with clarity of purpose, and Advait has ensured that every move aligns with its vision. The company has expanded beyond its core infrastructure business to include sustainability services such as carbon consultancy, decarbonisation strategies and advisory solutions for companies looking to reduce their environmental impact. These initiatives allow individuals and organisations to offset their carbon footprint through high-quality carbon credits, making sustainable choices more accessible and measurable.

In Jan 2025, Advait Energy Transitions Limited achieved a major milestone in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sector by securing a 50 MW/100 MWh BESS project from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd under Phase-IV of their Tariff-Based Global Competitive Bidding. The project, backed by Viability Gap Funding, is set to enhance Gujarat’s power grid and is expected to be completed within 18 months.

Financial Integrity: More Than Just Numbers

Financial transparency is a key driver of trust for any business, and Advait has made this a priority. The company has demonstrated strong financial performance and impressive growth in the renewable energy space. Advait’s revenue in FY 24 grew 101.27 percent, EBITDA rose 96.34 percent, and PAT surged 113.33 percent—a clear indication that its sustainable energy strategy is both an environmental success and a commercially viable one.

Advait does not just publish numbers; it ensures that investors and stakeholders understand the story behind them. The company openly shares details of its financial decisions, from investments in new manufacturing facilities for OPGW and ACS wires to expansion strategies supporting the larger energy transition goal. Advait reassures stakeholders that their trust is well-placed by maintaining open books and clear reporting.

Strategic Growth and Recognised Achievements

Trust is built through action, and Advait has backed its words with real achievements. In January 2025, the company secured a 100 MW project under the SECI Electrolyser Manufacturing Tranche I bid and won an additional 200 MW under SECI Tranche II.

The company also signed a MoU with Haryana City Gas Distribution to establish a 2,000 MTPA Green hydrogen plant. In fuel cell advancements, Advait partnered with Norwegian clean-tech firm TECO 2030 to commercialise PEM hydrogen fuel cells in India and SAARC nations. These initiatives position Advait at the forefront of sustainable energy transition in India.

Beyond this, Advait has been instrumental in executing several high-profile infrastructure projects across India. The company has worked with state and central government agencies to enhance transmission and distribution networks, ensuring that the benefits of clean energy are efficiently delivered where they are needed most. Such achievements highlight Advait’s technical capabilities and its commitment to accountability. By securing and successfully executing these projects, the company demonstrates that it delivers on its promises, building infrastructure and credibility in the industry.
