Infrared Thermometer – Model IRL-7Ex

The KUSAM-MECO IRL-7Ex is a cutting-edge, intrinsically safe infrared thermometer designed for hazardous environments such as mines and oil and gas facilities. It is certified with an Ex class rating of Ex ib I Mb (Class 1), ensuring safety and reliability in potentially explosive atmospheres.

With a wide temperature range of -32°C to 700°C and a resolution of 0.1°C, the IRL-7Ex delivers precise measurements for critical applications. It features an infrared spectral response of 8 μm to 14 μm and a rapid response time of just 250ms, making it highly efficient for real-time temperature monitoring. Its 20:1 distance-to-spot ratio allows users to measure temperatures from a safe distance accurately.

TRMS Digital Multimeter – Model KM 789

The KUSAM-MECO KM 789 is an advanced, high-safety TRMS digital multimeter, part of KUSAM-MECO’s large range of “UL” listed multimeters, offering superior reliability and safety features unmatched in the Indian market. Unlike CE-certified multimeters, which rely on self-certification, UL standards are established by an independent global safety organisation. This distinction makes UL-listed multimeters, including the KM 789, far more robust and secure. With transient protection ranging from 6 kV to 12 kV (depending on the model), these multimeters are designed to handle high-voltage surges.

The polycarbonate fire-extinguishing body and HRC fuses also provide enhanced safety, unlike other models that feature only ABS bodies and glass fuses. LCR Multimeters – Models KM 460 and KM 461

KUSAM-MECO introduces two advanced LCR multimeters, Models KM 460 and KM 461, designed to accurately measure inductors, capacitors, resistors, and other electronic components. These compact and handy devices are ideal for professionals and hobbyists alike. Both models operate on a 5V lithium battery, ensuring portability and convenience.

Equipped with a 2.8-inch colour TET LCD, these LCR meters feature a 4½-digit main parameter display and a secondary parameter resolution of 0.0001. The instruments provide a comprehensive measurement range, with the ability to measure inductance (L) from 0 to 2000H, capacitance (C) from 0 to 20mF, and resistance (R) from 0 to 20MΩ. Additional auxiliary parameters such as X, D, Q, and ESR can also be measured, making these devices versatile tools for various applications.

The KM 460 offers fixed frequency steps of 100Hz, 120Hz, 1kHz, 10kHz, 40kHz, and 100kHz, while the KM 461 features a variable frequency range from 100 Hz to 100kHz. Both models boast high accuracy with a basic accuracy of 0.3 percent, including advanced features such as calibration and filtering functions. The backlight luminance and auto power-off settings are also adjustable for user convenience.

TRMS Power Clamp meter – Model KM 2746

KUSAM-MECO has expanded its range of clamp meters by introducing the versatile Model KM 2746. This advanced power clamp meter is designed to measure single-phase and three-phase balanced power, making it an essential tool for professionals in power analysis and electrical testing.

The KM 2746 features a large LCD capable of showcasing three parameters simultaneously, ensuring easy and efficient data interpretation. With 6000 counts and automatic range selection, it provides high precision in measurements. The device can measure AC voltage up to 600V (at least 0.1V) and AC current up to 1000A (at least 0.01A). It measures single-phase active power up to 600kW (at least 0.01kW) and three-phase active power up to 600kVA (at least 0.001kVA).

It also supports measurements of reactive power up to 600kVAr (at least 0.001kVAr), power factor in the range of 0.3-1-0.3, and frequency up to 1kHz (0.1Hz resolution). The KM 2746 also offers harmonics testing up to the 20th harmonic and features a PC interface for data analysis. Other useful functions include data hold and a lightweight design (500g) for ease of use. Supplied with test probes, software CD, an instruction manual, batteries, and a carrying case, the KM 2746 is a comprehensive and reliable solution for power measurement tasks.
